You'll easily find tours in different parts of the country. There are e.g. tours on Hvítá, Markarfljót, Vestari Jökulsá and Eystri Jökulsá.
Coveralls, helmets and shoes/rubber boots are included in the tour price but remember to wear warm clothes, thermal underwear and e.g. a fleece sweater. Wear shoes which you don't mind getting wet. You should also bring a change of clothes... just in case.
The tours are available from May to September. Age limit differs according to the level of difficulty.
