Camping in Iceland is the cheapest accommodation. That goes without saying. You will find around 125 registered campsites all over the country. They are usually open from the beginning of June until the end of August. Camping outside these areas is not allowed.
You can expect a price range from US $5-7depending on what kind of facilities are offered. Senior citizens often get a discount and also children.
